Individual therapy sessions are for any adults seeking a safe, confidential, space to discuss and process areas of their life they are experiencing difficulty navigating or coping through.
During therapy we may explore parts of your lived experience that developed narratives, beliefs, or ways of being, that you feel prevent you from living your life to it’s fullest.
In individual therapy we work to identify what is helping you, potential mistaken beliefs maintaining challenges, and ways we can work to develop adaptive and functional approaches to problems and challenges, so that you have the opportunity to use your insights, awareness, and skills to create meaningful change outside of the therapy space.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy is for any adult individuals who either know they have experienced a traumatic event, or experience repeated feelings of disturbance despite often ‘knowing’ an alternate truth. EMDR therapy can be helpful for individuals who often feel like “logically, I know this isn’t the case, or true, or accurate, but it just feels like it is” to explore what the body is holding, and how we may begin to reduce these symptoms.
During EMDR therapy we might explore aspects of experiences that informed your nervous system, your internal life, relational patterns, skills that have kept you safe, and what is no longer serving you.
Through EMDR we may target specific memories, learn adaptive skillsets, and build relational strengths to begin reprocessing, adapting, and regulating the nervous system so that your lived experience is one that feels authentic and best suited for you.

Exposure and Response Prevention is considered the “gold standard” for Obsessive Compulsive disorder, and may also be adapted to work with symptoms of anxiety.
Through ERP, we might explore areas of uncertainty the brain has difficulty tolerating, the ways in which we are urged to interact with intrusive thoughts or “what if” questions, and how we can explore the core fears preventing us from living our value based life.
We might learn to help our bodies, brains, to live meaningful lives, while also learning to tolerate the uncertainty of life, the fear and feelings so often accompanying intrusive thoughts, and how we can best practice value based behaviors.
Our work with ERP will not be primarily focused on exposures, and I will never ask a client to participate in an exposure they are not open to. Response prevention can in some cases be a means of exposure itself due to the nature of OCD, and how intrusive thoughts are maintained.
We might explore one really persistent, tricky, sticky thought one session, and dive deep into our values and appropriate responsibility the next, and at times seeing how anxiety and OCD are showing up so that we can come up with a plan to decrease our interaction with them and live a values based life.

Let’s explore what it means to be where we are when we’re there. Through life transitions, college, our early early career, starting significant relationships, and fully experiencing all the life adjustments. If you’re a young adult, you might be in a place where there is an immense opportunity for reflection, skill building, and introspection to explore the narratives you’ve been given, what’s working, what you hope to do differently, and how you can grow towards a life that feels sustainable, empowered, and authentic. If you’re a young adult hoping to address what you’re currently experiencing, better understand your anxieties and relationships, and discover informed ways to functionally approach your personal life, I would love to work with you. Let’s build a foundation for wellbeing and connectedness, strengthened with insights to inform, skills to sustain and adapt, and empowerment to craft the life you want to live.

Therapy specifically for the challenges women face may include ERP and EMDR modalities as well as an eclectic approach with the therapeutic relationships at the center. My work with women at varying stages of life, relationships, and personal experience, has informed this practice to better understand the nuances in cultural and societal expectations, socialization, overlap of experiences, and personal desires for things we’ve often been taught next to nothing about. I would love to hear your story, explore your hopes for your future, and see how we can work together to leave behind beliefs no longer serving us, anxieties making us doubt ourselves, outdated and unhelpful narratives about our existence, and inauthentic ways of being. Let’s discover ways to build a more sustainable, genuine, and meaningful life, so that your experience of it feels fulfilling, and aligned with who you are.

Lets gain insight, take new action, and explore what it means to experience our most authentic and genuine self. Let’s discover ways of continually exploring ourselves, our identity, how our connection to others, and our journey through life as who we are, who we were, and who we grow into. My work with clients hoping to discuss and explore identify often looks at what is working, what’s getting in the way, and how we would rather live and experience life, so that we can find approaches to a relationship with the self that embodies a more functional, sustainable, adaptable, and fulfilling, experience; one that is for you, by you, and fundamentally, authentically, totally, you.

Our relationships with others can be shaped by our relationships from the past, the relationships we hope to have in the future, and often our relationships with ourselves. Our experiences with other people inform our lives and impact how we see ourselves relationally. As a relational therapist I deeply value the therapeutic relationship, and have found this to be at the center of exploration that is experienced as safe, and creates a space for opportunity to emerge. Whether you’re hoping to discuss a familial relational experience, current relationship challenge, or gain a better understanding of how you exist in and experience relationships, I would love to create a space for us to work together, so that you have the awareness, understanding, and tools to create the relationships you long for in your life.
Telehealth can be a great fit for anyone seeking schedule flexibility, convenience, and adaptable environment.
