My approach to working with individuals experiencing anxiety, OCD, PTSD, relational history and life stressors takes into account the potential for co-occurring OCD and PTSD symptoms. With training and experience working through both EMDR and ERP frameworks, I utilize evidence based practice to integrate and approach an often nuanced experience where OCD and PTSD simultaneously present, interact, and impact individuals.
I take a human-centered approach with clear communication and adaptive responses to the wisdom in your lived experience. It’s not always what we choose to address in sessions—it can often be how choose to address what you’re experiencing that can have the desired impact and outcome that allows the opportunity for meaningful change to take place.

For insurance, I currently accept BCBS, Cigna, and Aetna in both North Carolina and Michigan. I am accepting other insurances in Michigan such as Priority Health, and Anthem EAP in North Carolina. I take a curious, collaborative, attuned, and empathetic approach. My goal is to create a space that is experienced as safe, so that each individual may have the opportunity to gain insights in their lived experience, build adaptive and authentic skills, and create meaningful change in their life outside of sessions.

Active therapy participation (meeting weekly or monthly for sessions) is completely dependent on each unique need and life circumstance of every individual. Through my experience, amount of time meeting can be impacted by the modality utilized, such as EMDR therapy, ERP for OCD, and IFS, and can also be impacted by the goals each individual comes to therapy for.
I meet with individuals as long as we determine it is therapeutic. Whether that means a few weeks, or over months that grow into years, I am here to continue holding space for individuals that choose to resume sessions at later dates as needed, as well as for individuals who hope to meet indefinitely.
I will continue maintaining licensure in both North Carolina and Michigan and invite clients to reach out if they would like to take time off or in the future resume meeting again.
